What does Liquid Therapy Scuba Adventures offer?

A.

We offer Scuba Diving trips combined with wildlife and cultural experiences. The tours are self-driven, however from 6 people we can organize guided tours including transport and guide. Our trips are categorized in Classic Tours, Individual Tours and Specials.

Our Classic Tours have a fixed itinerary for either 10, 14 or 21 days, starting on any date.

Individual Tours will be planned and booked according to your wishes and needs. Check out our Scuba/Wildlife and Cultural Adventures and let us know where you would like to go and what you would like to do. We organize your tailored adventure.

Our Specials are seasonal and therefore limited regarding available spaces and dates.

How can I book an adventure?

A.

Simply get in touch with us via email, phone or Skype for booking inquires. All booking confirmations will be sent via email, as well as all travel itineraries and other documents.

What is the group size for your tours?

A.

Trips can be booked for any group size, even single travellers. Tours that include transport and driver/guide can be book from a minimum of 6 people.

Our specials have limited availability and therefore may not always be available for bigger groups.

What is included in the tour price?

A.

All Classic and Individual Tours include accommodation and dives (incl. skipper and boat fares, air cylinders) as specified in the package. If other scuba gear needs to be rented, please let us know during the booking process.

All Specials include accommodation, dives (incl. skipper and boat fares, air cylinders) as well as specified meals. Transport/guide only is included where mentioned.

Do your tours include international/national airfares and rental cars?

A.

All flights, to and from the starting and ending city of the tour, or flights within the tour are NOT included and must be booked otherwise. If required, we can provide recommendations for flight connections and airlines to and within South Africa.

Rental cars (if needed) are also excluded from the price. With some of the tours you will have the option to either drive or fly long distances.

What additional costs can we expect?

A.

Additional costs while you are on tour can be:

  • Diving Permit fees
  • Tips, gratuity
  • Park or attraction entry fees
  • Petrol and toll gate fees
  • Foods and beverages
  • Additional dives and gear rental

As most our tours differ from each other, we will mention possible additional costs upon booking.

What are the payment methods and when are payments due?

A.

The tour prices can be paid via PayPal or Bank Transfer and will be charged in either South African Rand (ZAR) or Euro (€).

In order to confirm a booking, a non-refundable deposit of 50% must be paid. This deposit will be taken off the total amount. The remaining payment is due 90 days prior your trip.

What kind of visa is required to be traveling to South Africa?

A.

Most passport holders  (with a passport valid for six months beyond your entry date) you are not required to have a Visa to enter South Africa. You are granted a Visitors Temporary Permit which is valid for a period of up to 90 days upon entry. However, please check the requirements for your nationality before your journey.

I`m a single traveler, will I be able to book my own room?

A.

All our tour fares a based on twin/double rooms. If you are traveling on your own, single supplement tariffs will apply.

Can non-divers also join your tours?

A.

For sure. Non-divers can join our classic and individual tours, however on different tariffs, depending on the tour you want to go on.

On specials, divers will be preferred due to limited spaces and non-divers will have to pay the full tour price.

Is it safe to travel in South Africa?

A.

Yes, it is. Although South Africa has a bad reputation for crime, most crimes occur in  larger cities and away from tourist destinations. Most visits to South Africa are problem-free, however you should take sensible precautions to ensure your safety.
