10 Days Classic Tour

Upon arrival at Durban`s King Shaka International Airport, you can be sure that the next 10 days are going to be action packed and full of scuba diving and wildlife adventures.

Your first stop… the beautiful village of St Lucia, a World Heritage site, tucked away in the north of Kwazulu Natal. You will spend three days here and get to experience a very special place in our country. On your first day here you will be treated to a full-day beach and bush safari in the iSimangaliso Wetland Park which includes swimming/snorkeling at Cape Vidal. On the second day a definite highlight is up: a full day guided trip to the Hluhluwe (Shloo-Shloo-Wee) /iMfolozi Game Reserve. Here you will get the opportunity to possibly see South Africa`s "Big 5" (Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Leopard, Buffalo). This will be an experience of a lifetime. Day three is waiting with an Eco Tour up the estuary on one of the large viewing boats where you will definitely meet plenty of Hippos and Crocs. And now that you`ve got a little taste of the South African culture and wildlife, it is time for some scuba diving!

On day three in the afternoon, you will be hitting the road to Sodwana Bay, where you will spend three days scuba diving some of South Africa’s pristine coral reefs in the warm Indian Ocean, with a total of 6 dives. While there, you can also spend some time exploring the bush and eco systems in the afternoons, as most dives will be done in the mornings. Or just take some time to relax and enjoy the quietness of this lovely area.

After three days of Scuba Diving another road trip to your last destination is ahead of you, taking you down south to Umkomaas. Here another two days of scuba diving await you before you finish off this action packed tour. You will get to spend some time exploring another famous reef doing 4 dives on Aliwal Shoal. Along with that you will do a baited shark dive on one of the two days and get to see some of our beautiful apex predators which have made the Shoal their home.

The final day will be your own leisure day where you can relax and soak up some of the warm African sun. If you like you could head out to Durban in search of some curios or souvenirs to take home as a reminder of your adventure in South Africa.
